Robert Miller
Director Tulsa Elite 316
14u Coach
Mr Robert Miller is the Director of the Kansas Chapter of Tulsa Elite and head Coach of the 14U Team. "Coach Rob" has spent the past 35 years coaching baseball and softball and helping over 100 ball players achieve their dream to compete at the collegiate level. He has also served for 28 years on the board of directors for the West Urban Baseball sports complex and was president of the board for over 10 years. Mr. Miller has a Bachelor Degree in Entrepreneurship with a minor in accounting from Wichita Stare University and has been self-employed for more than 25 years.
Rob is married to Susie Miller (35 years). They have 5 children and 7 grandchildren. There have been over 80 World Series/Nationals appearances in the Miller family household!

Jay Brainard



16u Coach
Mr. Jay Brainard has coached youth athletics for more than 20 years. In Kansas, Jay has coached Club Softball at the 12U, 14U, and 16U levels. He has also coached high school sports in Illinois at the varsity level both as an assistant and head coach.
Jay is married to wife Holly, a Paraeducator for Maize USD266. They have two daughters, Grace and Isabelle.
Megan MILLER
SKILLS COACH
Ms. Megan Miller brings a wealth of experience and talent to our Tulsa Elite 316 coaching staff. In high school Coach Miller was a multi-sport athlete graduating from Bishop Carroll Catholic High School. She completed her high school career as an All-City, All-Metro, and All-State catcher having batted .605 her senior season.
Coach Miller furthered her softball
career at the University of
Louisiana Monroe, a Division I NCAA
school. She was a catcher for ULM's
softball team from 2005-2009 and
maintained a Top Three Batting
Average Ranking four consecutive
years. Miller was selected to the
All-Conference team in 2008, and
was named Conference Tournament
Runner Up that same season.
Megan is ranked in the Top Four in ULMs history for home runs and runs batted in. She also excelled behind the plate as she led her team for three years in throwing runners out. Coach Miller graduated from the University Of Louisiana Monroe with a degree Degree in Kinesiology where she majored in Fitness and Sports Studies.
After college Ms. Miller coached at Academy of Art University. She coached pitching, hitting, and catchers. She also started AAUs weight and conditioning program for all AAU sports. In, 2013, Megan became the head coach at Newman University. She helped take the program from 3 wins in Division II history to 17 wins in a single season. After leaving Newman she became a volunteer assistant at Butler Community College under Doug Chance and was part of the 2015 and 2016 National Championship teams working with catchers, hitting, and the mental side of the game.
Megan has remained active in competitive softball. She currently plays slow-pitch softball at the highest level for teams out of Seattle WA, Orlando FL, and Bakersfield CA, helping her teams win 15 National titles. In 2017 Coach Miller was recruited onto the first USA Women’s Slow-pitch National Softball Team and was later inducted into the Women’s Softball Hall of Fame. She went on the represent USA again in 2018.
Coach Miller currently works for Rawlings/Easton on their Hit lab Team.
